The months over that winter were pleasant ones. With my life as Hyde safely given over to my rooms in Soho, except for his visits back to my rooms for the changing potion with which I regained my usual form, we were both more free to indulge ourselves. I was able to devote my time to healing and helping and meeting with friends with no distractions of thought or action, as those could all be safely left to Hyde. In turn, Hyde was allowed his head and the actions and thoughts he had are best left unsaid, except to tell of their monstrousness which on regaining my mind both appalled and excited me. Finally, I felt sated in all areas of my being.

Even the separation between Hyde and myself seemed to have diminished and I could relive the deeds of my alter ego in all their glory, with no confusion or loss of memories.
