I woke after my night of visions and terrors with a new resolve. If Mister Hyde was going to haunt me, then I would haunt him back. I would station myself, during my free hours, at the door that Mister Hyde had used, and await his appearance, finally putting a name to the face and an end to my curiosity. I dressed immediately and set off to commence my vigil. I did not know how long it might take to sight the man, hours, days, weeks; all was immaterial to me. When I see a way to solve a problem, nothing will stand in my way until I reach resolution, mere time would be no barrier. |
